The Art of Gastronomy for Your Exceptional Moments

Eric Jan, head chef at Alexandra Palace, embodies culinary excellence. After honing his skills at the Tour d'Argent and winning the Prosper Montagné competition, he was named Chef of the Year 2000 for Poitou-Charentes, before earning a Michelin Star. Having run his own restaurant in Switzerland’s Valais canton for 15 years, Eric Jan has now returned to Poitou. Still passionate about authentic cuisine, he focuses on the richness of our local products and terroir. He masterfully combines creativity and expertise to take your taste buds on a culinary journey, a true gourmet stop, at our restaurant Le Daniel’s.

An Exceptional Place

Alexandra Palace is an exceptional place, restored with taste for a timeless break. The entire staff is welcoming, professional, and attentive. We greatly enjoyed the dinner, served with great professionalism, with a special mention for the pressed duck foie gras with artichoke hearts and summer truffle gel.

Great hotel, beautifully decorated rooms, comfortable, spacious bathroom/shower. Impeccable cleanliness. Comfortable bedding. Refined and delicious dinner in a lovely restaurant room with a magnificent fireplace. The 'Marie-Antoinette' lounge is very cozy with its fireplace. Beautiful chandeliers, lovely furniture. We had the immense luck of visiting the stunning vaulted cellars. Warm, attentive staff, always listening to our needs. A wonderful stay. We will return. Nothing! Everything was fabulous!
